Who, What, When, Where…what’s the last one?
Who’s the Girl in the Purple Polo? That’s me—the writer of what I hope will soon be your new favorite blog (wink, wink). But first let’s start with the other W’s.
When? I’ll be posting a new blog every Thursday and dishing info on all of Res Life- past, present and future.
Where? Well, where else—Facebook! And blogger.com too!
Who am I? I love LSU football and everything purple and gold. I am excited, energetic, but at times a bit stressed. I love meeting new people, and I actually find the smell of new text books invigorating. I’m nervous about graduating and entering the “real world,” but I know the time I’ve spent here has been best of my life so far. In a sense, I’m every student on campus who is passionate about LSU.
But why? I guess I forgot the most important one.
Why am I writing this? I am entering my senior year at LSU and want to share some of what I’ve learned with you. But why Res Life? Good question… Res Life has been a core part of my life since I was a prospective student. Reading the view book, working as a desk assistant, leading tour groups – you name it, I’ve done it with Res Life. There’s always so much going on right here on campus, so I’m going to give you the inside scoop from a view that only The Girl in the Purple Polo has.
